John Fatula, of 305 E. Chapel St., Hazleton, was cited for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol following a traffic stop in McAdoo on June 22.

Officer William Curilla was on routine patrol at 12:40 a.m. when he observed a black Jeep turn from Sherman Street onto Lincoln Street. The operator failed to use a turn signal. The officer initiated a traffic stop and identified Fatula as the driver.Fatula exhibited signs of possible inebriation and admitted to drinking "three or four beers." He was given and failed field sobriety tests.
