Tamaqua man cited twice

Tamaqua police have cited Brian Keith Haas, 45, of 406 Pitt St., Tamaqua, in connection with incidents on May 2 and May 15.

On May 2, at 9:31 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Schuylkill Avenue and Mauch Chunk Street after several people called Schuylkill County Communications to report that a man was causing a disturbance. That man was identified as Haas, who allegedly threw a glass at Dennis Neff. Haas was reportedly retaliating after receiving a citation for throwing a brick at Neff's vehicle.

He was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct.

Then, on May 15, Haas reportedly caused a disturbance at 8:30 p.m. when he began banging on the wall of his apartment, knocking several pictures from his neighbor's wall. Haas then reportedly threatened the neighbor with bodily harm.

He was cited for harassment.
