A Summit Hill man involved in a domestic abuse incident in Tamaqua on July 10 found himself locked up in the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville.

Patrolman Michael Hobbs was dispatched to 10 S. Greenwood St. at 2:14 p.m. that day for a domestic incident. At the scene, he spoke with the alleged victim and several witnesses, who all reported that Jason Allan Weaver, 32, of 2 E. Fell St., had assaulted the victim, who had scratches and red welts on her neck.A records check determined that Weaver was wanted on a warrant for a probation violation.
