Tamaqua's American Hose Company #1 and East End Fire Companies are sponsoring a chili and boilo cook off to benefit the Carbon/Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society. The event will be held at the East End Fire Company on Feb. 16. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and tasting will be held from 1 to 5 p.m.
