A domestic incident in Tamaqua on Feb. 10 resulted in the filing of charges against both parties.

Cpl. Dwayne Hacker and Patrolman Anthony Stanell were dispatched to 324 E. Union St., at 12:40 a.m. for a reported domestic incident. At the scene, they found Timothy Michael Stahl, 41, and Rachel Bales, 28. Both had visible injuries to their persons and claimed to have been struck/punched/ scratched by the other.Both were arrested, charged under the domestic violence act and arraigned before duty District Judge Carol Pankake, of Tremont. Bail was set at $500 unsecured for each of the participants.
