America is the last refuge in the world for those who seek freedom. Each year a million new immigrants come to this country legally to build a new life for themselves and their families. Immigrants like myself hear the words of freedom that offers us a new life:

"Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"(Written by Emma Lazarus in the sonnet, The New Colossus. The words were engraved on the statue of liberty in 1903).Unfortunately, some terrorists enter our country with valid immigrantsOthers slip across our unprotected borders from Canada or Mexico. The Boston Bombings are the beginning of a new era. Our enemies, both terrorist organizations as well as foreign powers, have taken advantage of our weak immigration policies and lax border protection to strategically place their operatives in our country. These sleeper spies and terrorists need to be rooted out and deported. Those who are U.S. citizens, like Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, should be tried as traitors, subject to the death penalty.We need to immediately implement stronger scrutiny of economic and political refugees that wish to come to the Land of Milk and Honey . If they are in danger in their own homeland, then we can house them at the base in Guantanamo Bay until they can be properly vetted and granted the coveted Green Card that permits them to live and work here. Those who illegally cross our borders should be quickly deported and denied the right to come to the United States for at least ten years. I understand that sending some illegal immigrants back to their country of origin could be a death sentence. So be it! They should have applied for legal immigration as millions of other immigrants did.The new immigration bill is an attempt to correct some of the issues with our immigration processes and policies. My concern is that the bill is being rammed through Congress in an attempt to grant the 11 million illegal aliens legal status and a pathway to citizenship . The events in Boston demonstrate that we cannot grant citizenship to illegals willy-nilly. Each illegal must be properly vetted before they are granted a Green Card . Our existing laws do not need to be changed. As I mentioned in a previous article, those who are here illegally need to leave America and return to their country of origin or other countries willing to accept them on temporary visas. They can then apply to immigrate to America using the same process that legal immigrants have used for generations. Anchor babies, born in the United States to illegal immigrant parents, will remain U.S. citizens.The Tsarnaev family received welfare when they came to this country and lived on it for years. Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the Boston Bombers, his wife and young child also received welfare until last year when Tsarnaev's wife got a job to support her family. Note that Tsarnaev himself did not get a job. He lived off his wife's earnings while he plotted against the United States, built his bombs and then used them to kill and maim Americans.Here in America, Tsarnaev has the right to a speedy trial. I believe that he should be tried as quickly as he would be in a Muslim country. If he committed a similar crime in Saudi Arabia, he could be tried and found guilty on Sunday and be executed at noon on Friday. Justice there is swift. Here in America, it will likely take several years to bring him to trial. Even though he committed a capital crime and is subject to the death penalty, I believe that he will likely get life in prison. If he behaves himself, he will be paroled in 15 to 25 years. He could be out before he is 40 and then go back on welfare for the rest of his life. Many miscreants here and abroad will consider him a martyr. Terrorist organizations will launch additional attacks against Americans in his name. Like it or not, our world has changed. The Tsarnaev Jihad has started and will continue for decades to come.The Tsarnaev brothers are proof that some Muslims who come to this country are terrorists. They hate America and Americans. Given a chance, these Jihadis will commit treacherous acts against our country. They consider themselves to be part of an Islamic effort to wipe out Christians, Jews and other Infidels. What they forget is that their God is also the God of the Christians and Jews. All three religions worship the same God. Unfortunately, some Muslims believe that Christianity must be killed to further Islam.Sheik Farook al-Mohammedi is a prominent Muslim who believes in world domination through the establishment of the Muslim Caliphate. He advocates for through the establishment of the Muslim Caliphate. We must enhance our security. We must seek out, identify and neutralize potential terrorists be they Muslims, Christians or Atheists. We can no longer sit back while they plot against America and murder our citizens. We can no longer tolerate attacks on our country and our citizens. The terrorists need to learn and learn quickly, that if you kill an American, there will be swift and furious retribution against those who are responsible and those that harbor them. It is time to destroy the terrorist recruitment and training centers wherever they may be located.Nations that support terrorists or turn a blind eye to anti-American terrorist organizations in their countries need to know that they will be targets for American surgical strikes and smart bombs. The Boston bombings were the new Pearl Harbor. The terrorists have declared war on America. We should learn from the Israelis who quickly respond to attacks against their citizens.
