Rev. George G. Kunkle, of Kresgeville, was one of 20 clergymen nationwide who invested money in the Automotive Royalties Corporation of New York City, whose president, Clarke W. Parker, church trustee and inventor, has been indicted in the U.S. Court of New York City, along with his son, Wyman C. Parker, and 15 stock salesmen of the company, on a charge of using the mails to defraud. The 20 clergymen had investment a total of $150,000 in the company. Rev. Kunkle said he purchased $400 worth of stock.
