Joseph Frank Jude Hodnik, 19, of Albrightsville, has been arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks on a charge of driving under the influence.

Police said the arrest came at 8:27 p.m. Dec. 23 after Hodnik was stopped for a vehicle code violation on Serfoss Road, east of Burger Hollow Road in Polk Township, Monroe County.In another report, police said Christopher John Cullen, 41, of Effort, was also arrested for DUI after a traffic stop in the same location. That violation took place at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 23.
