Two area men appeared in the Schuylkill County Court for hearings on bench warrants.

Anthony Louis Kehl, 41, of the village of Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, appeared before Judge James P. Goodman who dissolved the bench warrant issued last September11 for failure to appear in court for a pre-trial conference and bail was reinstated with a stipulation that he must reside at 201 Chestnut Street, Tuscarora and is not to relocate without prior court order. Kehl faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness which were filed by Patrolman Michael Hobbs, Tamaqua Police.Justin Anthony Jacobacci, 30, Jim Thorpe, had the bench warrant issued last November 1 for failure to appear for a preliminary hearing was dissolved by Judge Goodman and bail set at $10,000 percentage cash with the stipulation the defendant must reside with his parents at 304 Hatchery Road, Jim Thorpe and is not to relocate without prior court order. Jacobacci faces charges of criminal conspiracy, retail theft and receiving stolen property filed to court by Patrolman Corey Herring, Rush Township Police.Also appearing was Brandon Bertasavage, 18, Pottsville, who had the bench warrant issued last November 27 for a court hearing and Judge Goodman fixed bail at $10,000 unsecured bail and ordered the defendant to reside with his mother on Brick Road, village of Llewellyn in Branch Township and not relocate without prior court order. Bertasavage faces charges filed by Patrolman Kenneth A. Jacoby, Schuylkill Haven Police, of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. (Unsecured bail means he doesn't have to post any cash, however, if he jumps bail he is liable for the full amount).
