Justin Reed, 31, of Schuylkill Haven, has been arrested by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police said he was driving a box truck west on Rt. 443 in Wayne Township at 7:53 a.m. Dec. 22 when he fell asleep behind the wheel. The vehicle traveled across the double yellow line into the eastbound lane of travel before going onto the south berm striking a porch. Police said he was uninjured and the truck sustained minor damage.Reed was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety tests and was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-South, Pottsville, for a blood test.
