Walter A. Machalick, storekeeper first class, USN, son of Mrs. Sophie Machalick of East Walter Street, Summit Hill, is serving aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, which was among the quarantine forces in the Caribbean recently. The forces were under the command of Vice Admiral Alfred G. Ward, USN. The largest ship in the world, the Enterprise is powered by eight nuclear reactors, which can push the ship through the water at more than 35 knots (nautical miles per hour).
