Joshua M.Cooper, 24, of Pottsville, was cited by state police at the Frackville barracks for driving too fast for conditions after a one-vehicle crash at 9:14 a.m. Dec. 18 on Route 61 in Blythe Township.

Police said he was driving a 2007 Subaru northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The car began to spin counter-clockwise, traveling onto the east shoulder and striking a guardrail. It continued to travel northeast, spinning counter-clockwise and came to rest facing northeast and blocking the passing lane of Rt. 61.Cooper was uninjured.
