State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of oil that was siphoned from an outside oil tank at a Monroe County business.

The victim is the Kresgeville Deli, Polk Township.Police said it was discovered at midnight Dec. 10 that someone siphoned the oil and fled the scene undetected.
