Volunteers with the South Ward Playground Association have decided to move their BINGO and other larger events into the South Ward playground's new community center, managed by the South Ward Neighborhood Committee. Volunteers are holding their BINGO every Monday starting at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. South Ward Playground Association volunteer Lee Calkins stated that volunteers are always welcome to help and the new South Ward Community Center, Oak and Penn Sts., is open to the public for meetings and such at no charge.
