Members of the Lehighton Area Chamber of Commerce have voted not to change the name of the organization. Ballots were counted during a meeting, with 38 votes against the name change and 26 in favor. John R. Williams, treasurer of the chamber, said the total number of ballots received represented about 46 percent of the total chamber membership. The Lehighton unit has 136 members. Balloting was done by mail.
