28 from area arraigned on criminal charges in Schuylkill courthouse

Twenty eight area people were among 38 who were arraigned on criminal charges Monday before District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon in the Schuylkill County Courthouse and all pleaded not guilty to the charges and requested jury trials.

Crystal Joy Milner, 26, of 19 North Walnut Street, Lansford, formerly of Old Pine Street, Tamaqua, charged by Patrolman Thomas Rodgers and by Patrolman Anthony Stanell, Tamaqua Police, with criminal conspiracy, delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) in Tamaqua, possession with intent to delivery a controlled substance, criminal use of cell phone and possession of a controlled substance.Jacob Alexander Bynon, of 305 East Patterson Street, Lansford, charged by Patrolman Anthony Stanell, Tamaqua Police, with criminal conspiracy, delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of cell phone and possession of a counterfeit substance in the borough. Bynon was also charged by Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, Tamaqua Police, with two counts each of criminal conspiracy, delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to delivery a controlled substance, criminal use of cell phone and possession of a counterfeit substance in the borough.Gladys Bertha Neff, 56, of 216 North Greenwood Street, formerly of Pine Street, Tamaqua, charged by Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, Tamaqua Police, with hindering apprehension or concealing a person from police.Jessica Lee Arroyo, of 789 Carson Street, Hazleton, charged by Trooper Timothy Keating, with theft of $25,000 in cash and credit card from safe at Corgill Meat Solutions building, Green Mountain Road, East Union Township and criminal conspiracy with a boyfriend to make purchases on the stolen credit card.Miguel Dejesus Rodriguez, 24, of 798 Carson Street, Hazleton, formerly of Madison Avenue, West Hazleton, charged by Trooper Timothy Keating with access device fraud by using stolen credit card received from Jessical Lee Arroyo and making purchases in Hazleton and Tannersville.Elizabeth Ann Ringlaben, 18, of 20 West Washington Street, McAdoo, charged by Chief Jeffrey Wainwright, McAdoo Police, with simple assault and harassment of Krysta Decker, Washington Street, and disorderly conduct by engaging in fighting.Matthew Dutzer, 24, of 39 James Street, village of Kelayres, Kline Township, charged by Chief John Petrilla, Kline Township Police, with theft by unlawful taking of property belonging to his sister, Candice Dutzer, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.Michael Sean Balogach, 48, of 32 Deer Trail, Nesquehoning, charged by Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, Tamaqua Police, with dui (driving under the influence) of alcohol on Route 309 in the borough and failing to drive on right side of road.Felician Marie Bigg-Carr, 21, of 134 West Miner Street, Coaldale, charged by Patrolman Dane O'Brien, Tamaqua Police, with attempting to escape from police car after placed under arrest, resisting arrest and two counts of disorderly conduct.Matthew S. Mitchell was also charged by Patrolman Scott Cramer, Coaldale Police, with terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering Jody Forker, Kelayres, theft of $100, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief to television set an harassment.Joseph Brian Franz, 25,of 190 Lincoln Drive, Tamaqua (Rush Township), charged by Sargent Duane Frederick, Rush Township Police, with theft of two checks belonging to his father, Kenneth Franz, and receiving stolen property. Franz was also charged by Corporal Henry Woods, Tamaqua Police, with criminal conspiracy, three counts of forgery, theft by unlawful taking or disposing moveable property and receiving stolen property.April Lynn Miller, 34, of 4 Cherry Street, Tamaqua, charged by Corporal Henry Woods, Tamaqua Police, with two counts each of forgery and theft by deception, three counts of receiving stolen property and one count each criminal attempt to commit forgery and criminal attempt to commit theft by deception.Sarah J.
