A Luzerne County man was arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a young boy, which allegedly occurred 12 years ago.

State police at Lehighton said Leo Joseph Deutsch, 43, of Glen Lyon, has been charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and corruption of a minor, all felonies; and indecent assault and indecent exposure, both misdemeanors.According to troopers the victim, now 17, came forward recently and accused Deutsch of the acts. The victim said the acts occurred while he was 3 and 4 years of age and during the time frame of 1999 to 2000. The alleged assaults occurred at Deubler's Mobile Home Park, located along Burger Hollow Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Deutsch was arraigned on the charges and lodged in the county prison in Snydersville.
