State police at Lehighton reported on a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest made by troopers on Thursday, Nov. 22.

At 2:45 a.m. David Sodl, 26, of Gilbert, was stopped for speeding along SR209 at Sold Lane, in Chestnuthill Township. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the barracks for a breath test.Charges are pending, troopers noted.
