Eddie Sabol recovers a Tiger fumble in the first half and runs 63 yards for the game's only score. The contest is the final in the 42-year old series with Coaldale finishing with a 25-14-3 advantage. The Panthers, coached by John Harkins, gain the shutout thanks to the strong line play of Don Jones, Ron Mihalko, Tim Mongi, Tom Major, Len Fredericks, Jim Malkin and Sabol.
