A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred Saturday, Nov. 24, along SR309, a quarter-mile south of Ben Titus Road, in Rush Township.

State police at Frackville said Tara Shuey, 31, of Tamaqua, was stopped for a traffic violation.At the stop Shuey was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.She was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results.
