Santa Claus is planning a visit to the Galen Glen Winery next month to help collect toys for needy children in the area.

This will be the fourth holiday season Santa has visited the winery, located at 255 Winter Mountain Drive in Andreas.On Saturday, Dec. 1 and Sunday, Dec. 2, Santa will arrive at the winery at noon and will be available for photos with visiting families. Bring your own camera, and the staff at Galen Glen will be glad to take your photo.Bring a new, unwrapped toy or a monetary donation for Toys for Tots, and Santa will add your name to the "Nice" list, also thanking you with a special treat.In addition, the winery will offer a complimentary pairing of one of its Rieslings with its rendition of lobster mac 'n cheese.The Marines Toys for Tots foundation is an IRS recognized not-for-profit charity and since 1991 has been assisting the U.S. Marine Corps in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas.
