Power outage in Rush Township

Quakake Fire Police block the entrance to the Still Creek Reservoir as PPL workers head to the site. A fallen tree next to the entrance to the Still Creek Reservoir was to blame for a power outage around 3 p.m. along Ben Titus Road in Rush Township. This resulted in 82 PPL customers to be without power for awhile. Neighbors said they saw the grass on fire. Reportedly, one neighbor attempted to put the fire out. Overall, high winds over the weekend resulted in over 1,200 customers to be without power. Most customers were restored in a short time.
