I am writing to the people of Coaldale on behalf of Jamie Nicholas, Coaldale Code Officer. For those of you that we have worked with, you know he is only out for the health & safety of the people in the town. Out of the thirty issues per month; there are 3-4 ongoing issues, that he is still working on.He does what he can for a part-time employee. We get calls for vehicles w/o tags & registration, trash or high weeds in yards, abandoned animals, buildings that are falling apart plus home inspections for Renters/Landlords.If he sends you a notice of Violation, Please read over it, If you have any questions call him. The number is on the bottom of the notice. The wording on this notices are stern, but we can't change it. This can be upsetting. Please keep it civil, and he will be to. He doesn't go out of his way to harass anyone! We have enough drama in our lives, as we are sure you do too.We work with everyone individually & know each circumstances are different.Just for the record he didn't cut down a tree, we cut back a tree to see the stop sign for the safety of the public.I would like to Thank everyone for the help & effort to make Coaldale abetter place to live!Sincerely,Becky NicholasCoaldale
