Deutsch Bank National Trust Company, Jacksonvllle, Fla., filed suit against Richard J. Gallagher, rear 17 N. Logan St., McAdoo, alleging he has defaulted on his mortgage payments and is filing a lien against the property in the amount of $32,367.24 plus interest and costs and seeks foreclosure if payments are not made.Lease breachLeiby's Dairy Inc., of 116 Mountain Road, Tamaqua R.D., filed suit against Ibrahiim Demar, of 515 1/2 Center Street, Freeland, Luzerne County, alleging breach of a lease agreement and failure to pay for ice cream products.The suit states the parties entered into an equipment lease in June 2011 for two freezers which were delivered to Rittenhouse Plaze in Drums, Luzerne County, at $351.08 per month rental fee.The suit claims the contract was breached for alleged failure to make payments and the suit also alleges oral orders were made for ice cream products and that payments are long overdue. Leiby's seek damages in excess of $50,000 plus return of the freezers.Contractor suesSkytop Fuels Inc., Morea Road, Mahanoy Township, filed suit against Gary W. and Susan M. Bettis, of 37 Forest Avenue, Barnesville, for alleged contract breach.Skytop claims in the suit it was contracted to make improvements to a property at 532 Morea Road, Mahanoy Township, allegedly owned by the Bettis' and that work performed consisted of excavation of the lot, removing tree stumps, rolling and grading three acres of land, installing a water line and electric line to a builiding, installing a septic tank, loadiing and hauling breaker rock. The suit alleges a balance of $25,912.86 is owed plus interest and costs.School tax suitTamaqua Area School District filed suit against Joanne Rowland, of 70 Whitehall Crossing Road, Tamaqua R.D., alleging she owes back school taxes of $249.07 on a property on Walnut Street in Schuylkill Township.Credit card suitDiscover Bank, Mount Laurel, N.J., filed suit against Kenneth D. Karlavage, of 142 Willow Street, Delano, alleging he has failed to make payments on his credit card and a balance of $16,564.86 is owed plus interest and costs.RemovedThomas Salvadore Ruzzano, 46, Pottsville, was removed from the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program by President Judge William Baldwin for violating terms.His case was returned to the trial list on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia as charged by Pottsville Patrolman Richard J. Pugh. Had he completed the 12 months on probation on which he was placed last September his criminal record would have been cleared. Now if he is convicted the criminal record will not be erased.Wants property backInteragents Properties, LLC, of Philadelphia, filed a suit claiming a property was alleged illegally sold to a Barnesville man and is seeking to regain it.The suit claims Interagents acquired a property at 53 Hemerick Lane, Ringtown, from JBL Assets, LLC, of Lebanon, and alleges the company recorded an alleged fraudulent quit claim deed against the property and sold it to Robert E. VanHorn, of 19 Walnut Street, Barnesville, for $53,000. It seeks to recover the property and seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
