Dear Editor:

Certain people in Hometown, Rush Township, should get their facts straight before spreading rumors that a resident in Hometown caused a power outage when trees fell on power lines a block away; when the person they're accusing also had no power. So why would he stop PPL from restoring power? If not for the person being accused of the power outage calling PPL and doing the job the supervisors should have been doing, people would still have no power. PPL didn't know about the trees on the lines until I called.William D. BoyerHometown
