Lehighton school directors last night approved bids for the construction of a new district administration building off Union Street, near the former hangar building on the high school campus.

The successful bids totaled $813,309. They include Walter Brucker Co., Dublin, Pa., for general construction at $633,200; Bognet Inc. of Hazleton for heating at $85,700; JBM Plumbing of Bethlehem for plumbing at $22,000; J.B. Electric, Inc. of Minersville for electric work at $72,409.
