No injuries were sustained in a two-car-crash Wednesday afternoon in Monroe County.

State Police at Lehighton said the collision occurred at about 5:05 p.m., when Daniel Alvarez, 38, of Albrightsville, was operating his 2012 Dodge behind a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier operated by Jeffrey Oppold, 24, of Kunkletown, as they were traveling north on State Route 115, north on SR 115, approaching the intersection with Anchorage Road.The Cavalier was slowing to a stop due to traffic to the front that was turning left onto Anchorage Road, and didn't notice that the Dodge was slowing, and, as a result, the right front of the Dodge struck the right rear of the Cavalier.No injuries were reported. Both men used their lap and shoulder belts.
