Tamaqua Police, paramedics and fire police responded to a two-vehicle accident yesterday around 3:30 p.m. on the 800 block of East Broad Street (SR209) in Tamaqua. One of the drivers, Cynthia Kashlak, of Summit Hill, driving a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim, was taken to the hospital for unknown injuries. The other driver was Corey Lech Gibson of Tamaqua, driving a 2003 Honda Accord. Reportedly, Kashlak pulled out in front of Gibson as he was driving west on SR209. The investigating officers were Karl Harig and Mike Hobbs.
