State police at Lehighton reported investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 11:10 a.m. on Oct. 10 at the intersection of Maury Road and SR903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Thomas Dressler, no address given, operating a 2001 Chevrolet Prism, was attempting to turn around and slowed down and entered the right shoulder.Clifford Peter Swanson, no address given, driving a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 truck, passed Dressler on the left.At this time Dressler turned from the right shoulder and a collision occurred.The state police report indicated that Swanson was injured and airlifted to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, due to a compound fracture of his left forearm.
