They were married June 12, 1999.Property disputeMonica M. Smith, Pottstown, filed suit against John C. Barna, 57 W. Main St., Quakake, Rush Township, alleging he has refused to pay share of cost for the upkeep of a property at 1007 E. Centre St., Mahanoy City, obtained under their mother's will.Smith claims the property is in need of repairs and alleges Barna has failed to pay his proportionate share of expenses for its upkeep which she claims is $525.85. She is asking the court to partition the property and decree Barna pay his share.Credit defaultDiscover Bank, New Castle, Del., filed suit against Sharon Kachmar, 21 Church St., Barnesville, alleging she has defaulted payments on her credit card and owes $8,174.98 plus interest and costs.RevocationDonald R. .Watson Jr., 30, Pottsville, had his parole revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes for violating conditions of his parole and was recommitted to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence with a loss of 251 days of liberty which were added to the maximum date for his release creating a new maximum expiration date of Aug. 22, 2013.Watson was told by the judge that the court would consider parole earlier than Dec. 1, 2012, if the defendant is accepted into an inpatient treatment and rehabilitation program. He had pleaded guilty to theft.Katrina Joy Beesley, 27, Pottsville, had her parole revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin and was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of her sentenced and the 146 days of liberty disallowed and added to her maximum sentence creating a new expiration date of June 26, 2013.The court added she may be eligible for re-parole after Nov. 1, only if accepted into treatment coordinated through Berks County District Attorney's Office and their Victim's Services professionals. Beesley pleaded guilty to theft of a charity donation can from mini market store in Pottsville.Brandon Lee Erb, 27, Pottsville, violated his probation and parole and it was revoked by Judge Dolbin and he was recommitted to the county prison to serve his original sentence and 74 days of liberty were taken away and added to his maximum sentence creating a new release date of July 9, 2013.Erb pleaded guilty last May to charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment and was placed on probation.Alberto Gonzalez Jr., 28, Pottsville, was removed by Judge Dolbin from the Intermediate for violating terms fixed by the court and he was re-sentenced on the charge of defiant trespass on Pottsville Housing Authority grounds to serve three to 12 months in the count prison. On a charge of possession of a prohibitive weapon to serve six to 12 months for a total of 12 to 24 months. He had pleaded guilty to the charges last May and was placed in the special probation program.SentencedMatthew Jeffrey Tellez, 22, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and was sentenced by President Judge William E. Baldwin to serve 30 days to six months in the county prison. His sentence to begin Friday, Oct. 26, at 9 a.m.Tellez also was ordered to pay a fine of $750, pay $300 to the Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and MCARE fund and a $50 monthly supervision fee and receive outpatient treatment. On a summary charges of violating a stop sign was fined $25 plus 450. Tellez was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jason A. Klouser.Erik S. Miller, 33, Shenandoah, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and was placed on parole for 12 months by Judge Charles M. Miller, after serving a two day prison sentence. He was also fined $200, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 each to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and monthly probation fee, and make restitution of $365 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Miller was cited by Mahanoy City Patrolman Jonathan McHugh.
