Schuylkill theft incidents probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating three theft incidents at Schuylkill County locations.

Troopers said unknown criminals stole about 160 Ultram pills from a locked employee medication cart at the Schuylkill Center Genesis HealthCare, assisted living facility located in East Norwegian Township. The staff discovered the missing pills at the end of a 24-hour shift, between 3 p.m. Oct. 9 and 3 p.m. Oct. 12.James Leonard Boland, 47, of Orwigsburg, reported someone removed a backhoe radiator from the rear of his residence, located at 1354 SR183, in West Brunswick Township, sometime between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 11. An older model pickup truck, red over silver in color, was used in the theft, troopers said. Also, two white males, one in his 50s with white hair and white goatee, and the other in his 30s, with dark/black hair, were observed at the scene.Amber Gayleard, of Schuylkill Haven, reported a glass door on the front of her residence at 243 SR183, of Wayne Township, was forced open to gain entry. Removed from the residence was a Kinect X-box system, which includes a tower, Kinect control system, and a hand-held controller, all black in color. The theft occurred sometime between 3 and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
