State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an incident in Schuylkill County in which a person shot BB pellets at two vehicles which were occupied at the time. The incident occurred between 2:30 and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, along Broad St., in the area of railroad tracks, in Port Clinton.

Troopers said the unknown criminal fired from a hillside off the road at a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, which was occupied at the time by Joseph and Monica Freiberg, of Springfield, Pa., and a 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by Bradley Schmoyer, of Breinigsville, Lehigh County.One shot shattered the passenger side window of the Freiberg van and another shot damaged the back right quarter panel of the Schmoyer truck.
