The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will meet on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co. They will be celebrating Columbus Day with a Chinese auction. Bring a bag lunch.Exercise class for seniorsEvery week, there is an exercise class for seniors (55 and older) at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co. on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The classes are sponsored by the Pocono Health System. The classes are low level, gentle exercises that anyone can do. All are invited to help keep you fit and limber.Halloween paradeThe Eldred Township Halloween Parade will be held on Sunday Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. Registration deadline is Sunday, Oct. 14.
