State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 12:30 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 1 at a residence in Deer Lake.

The victims are Joseph and Gretchen Sterns of Orwigsburg.Police said they reported someone entered the residence at 203 Chestnut Ridge Road and removed two laptop computers before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
