The Women of the ELCA from congregations throughout the Hazleton/Lehighton cluster will gather for their Fall Event Saturday, Sept. 29, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sixth and North streets, Jim Thorpe, from 8:45 a.m. to noon. The theme is "Sacred Spaces."

Northeastern Pennsylvania synod's SALM (synodically appointed lay minister) Emma Weaver will guide the women gathered in supporting and enriching prayer life.
