Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. 3rd St., Lehighton, will hold Worship Service of the Word, at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 23. This will include the observance of "Harvest Home."

This is a time set aside in the fall for thankfulness for the bounties of the harvest.A donation of a nonperishable food item (such as tuna, jelly, pasta) is requested.All food items will remain at Trinity for distribution via the pantry.Substitute clergy will preside during the pastoral vacancy.The Rev. Herbert G. Gates III will preside at this service. Coffee house fellowship follows the service.A nursery will be available during the 9 a.m. worship service for children through age 6, staffed with an experienced caregiver who is trained in CPR and first aid and a youth volunteer.Sunday School for all ages children through adults begins at 10:15.For additional information, call (610) 377-4303.
