State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence in which a large amount of cash was taken.

Troopers said the break-in occurred at the home of Sally Rebecca Miller, 59, of Market Street, Auburn. Unknown criminals entered the home through an unlocked door.They went upstairs and removed a locked Sentry lockbox which contained $22,000 in cash. The entry occurred sometime between Aug. 3 and Thursday, Sept. 19.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
