A Grier City man was jailed this past weekend following a domestic incident in Rush Township.

Police were dispatched to a possible domestic at 10:06 p.m. on Saturday and arrested Michael D. Hannock, 36, after he allegedly fought with his girlfriend and 3-day-old child.Hannock was arraigned before on-call District Judge Carol Pankake, of Tremont, on charges of simple assault and child endangerment.Bail was set at $15,000. Unable to post the required amount, Hannock was then lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville.
