Liquor law violations reported in Schuylkill

The Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board reported on several violations by Schuylkill County businesses.

• M&T Enterprises, LLC, trading as M&T Take Outs, 200-202 S. Main St., Shenandoah was cited for two violations. Licensed premises was not a bona fide restaurant in that you, by your servants, agents or employees, maintained insufficient food items, eating utensils, dishes, and failed to provide food upon request. Also, smoked and/or permitted smoking in a public place where smoking is not permitted• Carter's Mountain Girls' Cafe Inc., trading as The Watering Hole, 241 Second St., Porter Twp, Tremont. Used, or permitted to be used on the inside of your licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device whereby the sound of music or other entertainment, or the advertisement thereof, could be heard beyond the licensee's property line.• Brenda Neifert, trading as Who's Place Bar & Grill, 337-339 E. Center St., Shenandoah. Sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to one minor, 19 years of age.• Mine Shaft Cafe, Inc. 1116-1138 Center St., Ashland. Sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to one minor, 19 years of age.These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-$1,000 for minor offenses, and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge.
