Two Lehigh County residents were injured and flown to a Lehigh Valley area hospital following a motorcycle crash in Schuylkill County. State police at Frackville said the accident occurred about 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, along Tuscarora Mountain Drive, in Ryan Township.

Troopers said Robert M. Boudwin, 58, of Allentown, was operating a 2000 Harley-Davidson Heritage northbound and negotiating a left curve. Troopers said Boudwin leaned the bike over to the side and struck a foot peg on the road causing the bike to abruptly turn upright sending it off the road and onto the berm.The bike then overturned ejecting passenger Deborra M. Boudwin, 57, same address, into the southbound lane. The bike came to rest on its left side just off the east berm.tTe Boudwin's were flown by Medevac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, troopers said. Both were wearing helmets, troopers noted.Assisting at the scene were volunteers from the Ryan Township ambulance corps, Rush Township police, Delano and Mahanoy City fire companies.
