Franklin Township Lions Club will present Picnic in the Park and Franklin Township Senior Day from 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Phifer Ice Dam Park. Free food will be offered to Franklin Township senior citizens from 12 to 2 who are preregistered. Other people can purchase food. There will be bingo from 2 to 3 p.m., cake walk from 3 to 4 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m., the Mudflaps will perform. Everyone should bring lawn chairs. For information to preregister for food, Franklin Township senior citizens can call 610-377-5593 today until 5 p.m. or on Saturday morning. The pavilion will be open for refreshments throughout the day.
