What a difference a week makes.After a rough first week, things turned a round quite a bit last weekend, not just for us, but for a few of my colleagues also.I managed a 13-2 week, while Bob Ford and Mike Haines had a perfect week ruined by East Stroudsburg North's late comeback win over Pocono Mountain East. That gave Haines a first place tie with Jason Boris, who wasn't as lucky as the rest of us.So as anxious as I am, let's head for Week No. 3 and see what my Crystal Ball predicts:MAHANOY AREA AT MARIAN - The Colts are off to a great start, while the Bears don't look like the team they have been the past couple of years.....Marian, 35-6.JIM THORPE AT NORTH SCHUYLKILL - Spartans look like they are the team to beat once again in the Anthracite Football League.....North Schuylkill, 21-7.PANTHER VALLEY AT KUTZTOWN - As long as they don't make the wrong turn and play the University, Panthers will get their second wi......Panther Valley, 35-7.TAMAQUA AT SHENANDOAH VALLEY - Time to give Sam Bonner and the Raiders some love after picking against them the first two weeks. Letting the cat out of the bag, it was all for motivational purposes and the Raiders coach must have used it to his advantage. This week, they travel to Shenandoah and we're looking for the Raiders to pull off what could be considered an upset......Tamaqua, 21-20.SAUCON VALLEY AT NORTHERN LEHIGH - Bulldogs got a little score at Notre Dame last week. This week they're back on their own turf ....Northern Lehigh, 24-0.SALISBURY AT PALMERTON - Bombers came close to getting a win at Wilson last week. Tonight's the night they hit the win column...Palmerton, 18-0.NORTHWESTERN AT WILSON - This one was a flip of the coin as it looks like the Tigers have found some answers after an opening night thumping.....Wilson, 13-7.POCONO MT. EAST AT LEHIGHTON - Indians might have a shot here with Cardinals coming off a loss and short week after playing Monday, but....Pocono Mountain East, 14-10.POCONO MOUNTAIN WEST AT PLEASANT VALLEY - Bears unleached their offensive weapons last week and look to reload them again for this week....Pleasant Valley, 28-14.STROUDSBURG AT EAST STROUDSBUG SOUTH - Two teams with eyes on the MVC Championship go head to head at the Purple Pit....Stroudsburg, 14-13.BANGOR AT SOUTHERN LEHIGH - Can't figure out those Spartans who seem to be in disarray after that trip to Disney World. Is this the week they turn it around....Southern Lehigh, 14-7.PEN ARGYL AT NOTRE DAME (GP) - Crusaders have showed that they are a lot better than in past seasons, but it's tough to go against the Green Knights....Pen Argyl, 28-7.MINERSVILLE AT SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - Two teams that haven's looked too good in the first week battle it our to see which one can turn things around....Minersville, 20-14.BLUE MOUNTAIN AT POTTSVILLE - Crimson Tide have to put loss to Berwick behind them and move on....Pottsville, 14-13.CENTRAL CATHOLIC AT EMMAUS - One of the better games in the LVC this week. We're just going with the home team on a whim....Emmaus, 21-18.
