Two persons were injured, neither seriously, in a two vehicle crash that occurred about 4:15 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, at the on-ramp of Interstate 81 and Molleystown Road, in Tremont Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Cameron C. Wertz, 20, of Pottsville, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier westbound on Molleystown Road headed towards the on-ramp. As he approached the ramp he saw a 2011 Subaru Outback, driven by Melissa M. Aungst, 41, of Pine Grove, eastbound.Wertz then attempted to make a left turn and pulled into the path of Aungst and the vehicles collided.Wertz sustained a left ankle injury and was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville. Aungst sustained a laceration to the bridge of her nose and a possible collarbone injury. She was taken to the Hershey Medical Center.Troopers cited Wertz for vehicle turning left.
