Rash of break-ins being probed

State police at Frackville are investigating a rash of break-ins in an area of Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the burglaries occurred at seasonal residences located along Penny Lane, in New Ringgold, East Brunswick Township.Troopers said unknown criminals arrived at the location stated and broke into over 10 structures. Entered were several garage and storage structures, by cutting off pad locks on entrance doors.Removed were several all terrain vehicles (ATVs), a golf cart, several hunting tree stands, a generator, and various tools. Several items were loaded on flatbed ATV trailers which were parked on the property and removed as well.The criminals also entered several trailers/cabins by crawling through windows.Once inside, they removed various hunting items and clothing, assorted tools, copper pipes, and about $100 in U.S. currency. They also removed a 12 gauge spray painted camouflage pump shotgun with several boxes of ammunition, and a Wilderness Additions Kayak, blue in color.The total value of items stolen was estimated at about $10,000.The listed victims of incident were Robert John Robinsion, Michael Nedby, and Stanley Conrad Choynacky, all of Philadelphia; Timothy Patrick Connell, Douglasville; and Ronald Henry Barratt Jr., of Pennsauken, N.J.The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 8.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
