Daily room rates at the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital have been increased $1, it was reported by Fred W. Manning, president of the board. Manning cited escalating costs necessitated the increase. He said the amount increased is considerably less the raise in rates adopted at other area hospitals. Under the new increase, the rates for rooms that are private, $52; semiprivate, two beds, with bath, toilet and shower, $43; two beds with bath and toilet, $41; two beds with bath, $39; and four-bed ward, $37.
