The Lutheran Church of St. John in-the-Heights, 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe, will be opening its doors for its annual free clothing giveaway beginning Thursday, Aug. 2 and concluding Saturday, Aug. 18.

The event is held the first three weeks of August, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.On Thursdays, the times are 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.; on Fridays, the times are 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.; and on Saturdays, the times are 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.All are welcome.
