Pair steals five televisions from Hometown Wal-Mart

Rush Township police are asking the community for assistance in identifying two suspected thieves after police say they stole five televisions from the Walmart in Hometown early yesterday.

Police have released surveillance photos of a man and woman believed to be the thieves. In the photos, the man appears to be tall and thin while the woman appears to be short and a have an above-average build. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Monday and involved the thieves being in the store approximately 10 minutes, before leaving the store separately.Walmart and police also released a photo of a maroon-colored hatchback truck the pair left in. Police reported that the pair may not be the owner of the truck, as the truck was driven around the parking lot while the two were inside getting the televisions.Total cost of theft is estimated to be over $1,200.
