West Penn Township police and fire police closed a half mile section of Dairy Road for over five hours Wednesday evening after a pole fell onto the road. PPL responded and performed emergency repairs. No related power outages were reported. Police pointed out that there weren't any high winds in the area and that the pole appeared to fall on its own.
