Arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

On June 29 about 12:30 a.m. at 57 Hotel, in Eldred Township, Monroe County, Tiffany Lynn Ott, 30, and Veronica J. Rehrig, 37, both of Kunkletown, engaged in a mutual fight. Both were charged with harassment.Also on June 29, about 9:50 p.m. Jordan Patrick Jiunta, 23, of Kunkletown, and a 58-year-old female, also of Kunkletown, entered into a verbal argument at 474 Kunkletown Road, in Eldred Township, Monroe County. During the argument Jiunta allegedly shoved the female to the ground. He was cited for harassment.On July 2 about 10 p.m. Timothy Moser, 42, of 434 White St., Weissport, was found arguing with his mother in the 400 block of White St. He failed to cease and desist and continued yelling and acting in a disorderly fashion. He was intoxicated and failed to go inside the home.He was placed under arrest and charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, troopers said.Troopers said Ryan Sokolowski, of Saylorsburg, was charged with simple assault for allegedly punching Amanda Pensyl, of Kunkletown, causing her to get stitches to her eye and mouth. The incident occurred about 1 a.m. on July 3 in the Eldo Lakes development in Polk Township, Monroe County.Troopers are investigating a simple assault incident. Sean Maiden, 36, of Jim Thorpe, said he was thrown off a deck at 25 Berry Lane, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, about 9:30 p.m. on July 4. The investigation is continuing.Also on July 4 about 6:55 p.m. along Buckwall Drive, in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, Stephen Wayne Myers, of Saylorsburg, and Heather Nicole Myers, and Tyler Luke Kostenbader, both of Saylorsburg, were involved in a altercation. As a result troopers said Stephen Myers was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.On July 7 about 10:16 a.m. troopers stopped Jeremy David Gothard, 32, of Lehighton, operating a 2004 Chrysler Sebring, at the intersection of SR209 and Cherry Hill Road, in Franklin Township, Carbon County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. He is facing the two drug counts.On July 12 about 1 p.m. Luis C. Merced, 28, of Tobyhanna, and Elaine W. Hughes, 45, of 1967 Dotter Circle Rd., Polk Township, were involved in a altercation. As a result, troopers cited Merced for harassment.On July 14 about 8:30 p.m. troopers responded to Trattoria Restaurant, along SR903 in Penn Forest Township, for a disturbance. On scene troopers found Erin Leslie Cleary, 33, of Drums, Luzerne County, under the influence. She was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
