Trinity Church holds 4th of July service in honor of veterans

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Members of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Tamaqua held a 4th of July service in honor of a veterans who have served or are still serving in the military. The church service involved patriotic songs and an entertaining lessons in patriotism. Reverend Thomas Reinsel also spent time talking to the youth group at the front of the church, which was draped in red, white and blue, concerning the American flag and those who fought to protect it. He also spent a good portion of the service introducing and handing pins out to veterans and their family members. Debbie Delp also played "Glory Glory Hallelujah" with her flute. After the service, members of the youth group placed a patriotic sign and flags outside the church. Holding flags, members of the church's youth group listen to Pastor Thomas Reinsel, as he talks about those who fought to protect it.
